The Bitter And Sweet

Robert Eller was born in 1955 and has lived his entire life in California. Being a young adult in the 1970’s his thoughts have been shaped by the beliefs in that decade that established ideas should be challenged and that the world existing at the time should and must be changed.

It was a time when the individual was expected to find for themselves right and wrong and live according to individual morality rather than simply accept the established rules of society. Throughout his life he has continued the habits established as a young man to observe and examine the world around him, and try to live according to his personal ethics within this world.

In his forties he retired from the corporate world to write “The Bitter and Sweet” to express a portion of his thoughts and personal philosophy. Although he has continued his lifelong habits of contemplation “The Bitter and Sweet” is his only published work at this time. He is currently living a quiet life in a rural area in Northern California accordingly to his personal perspective of how a man of his temperament should live.
